Hurry up! For Opera's 10th anniversary, they are giving away registration codes for free. This only lasts a limited time, so get over to Opera's birthday party as soon as you can. Of course, you can use Opera for free anytime, but ordinarily you must pay to get rid of an advertising bar. For those who haven't used it, it's a very nice alternative to IE and FireFox; definitely worth a try. But you should hurry, because the party won't last for long.

There are a lot of hot Apple rumors circulating about new iPods. As they go, Apple may be teaming up with Motorola and Cingular to provide iPod cell phones. The size of the mp3 storage is still under speculation. This news would make sense, considering Motorola said they would make an iTunes-capable phone last year. This would also explain why Apple has increased their demand for Samsung's flash memory, now using 40% what the memory producer manufactures.

Scientists have created a substance that is harder than diamonds. Made by superheating and compressing carbon-60 with 200 times the pressure of the atmosphere, researchers say that the material is 0.3% denser than diamonds. They have scratched diamonds with it. The substance is called aggregated carbon nanorods (ACNR).
