MIT Develops Permanent Anti-Fog Technology

Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology say they might have found a permanent solution to the problem of foggy windows and lenses. The researchers report developing a polymer coating made of silica nanoparticles that can create surfaces that never fog. The transparent coating can be applied to eyeglasses, camera lenses, ski goggles or even bathroom mirrors, they said.
